Our 7-Step Purchasing Process

1. Consultation & contact: after reviewing the price lists and technical data sheets in the reserved area, the buyer selects the items of interest and contacts us.
2. Request for quotation (RFQ): the buyer sends a specific request indicating the desired products and quantities, asking for confirmation on pricing, lead times, and remaining shelf life.
3. Transparent quotation: within 2-3 business days, we provide a detailed offer. The quote includes the cost of the goods, an optional freight quotation, and clearly specifies the ITALIGO service fee (charged to the buyer) for our assistance.
4. Confirmation & deposit: upon accepting the offer, the buyer pays a deposit directly to the Italian supplier to confirm the order and initiate pallet preparation.
5. Balance at goods ready: as soon as the goods are prepared and ready for loading, the supplier issues the final invoice, and the buyer pays the remaining balance directly to the manufacturing company.
6. EXW assistance & document verification: to ensure a smooth export process, ITALIGO assists the buyer by verifying the accuracy and completeness of all documents provided by the supplier prior to loading. If the proposed freight quote was accepted, the buyer can coordinate directly with the suggested forwarder. At this stage, the buyer settles the service fee to ITALIGO.
7. Departure & delivery: the goods leave Italy with all documentation perfectly in order. Final unloading operations remain the buyer's responsibility."
